Since technological innovation is highly associated with the existence or growth of enterprises, how to measure technological innovation performance becomes one of the issues of technological innovation. The main goal of this research is to construct the model of performance index of technological innovation. By reflecting upon relevant literature on the subject, this research summarizes several relevant dimensions and indexes of technological innovation performance. Next, we summarize and select the measurement indicators through the opinions of some experts and scholars in the field in Taiwan. Furthermore, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) will be employed to calculate the weight of dimensions and indexes to construct the perfect model for performance index of technological innovation. Finally, this research uses survey research method to evaluate the validity and reliability of measurement. Through the conclusion of the opinions of nine experts and scholars, the research finds out that the importance order of the systematic dimensions of the model for performance index of technological innovation is “product innovation”, “pure technological innovation”, and “process innovation”. In the major dimensions under the systematic dimensions, “integral performance dimension” is the most important. Or 56 indexes, the top six indexes in importance are “the degree of customers’ satisfaction for the product”, “compared with similar technological innovation activity in the firm, what has relative advantage”, “compared quality of new products with the new products which competition create”, “the degree to which new technological makes a contribution to the firm’s profitability level”, “the degree to which the result of technological innovation conforms to the original goal”, and “the product can conform to the customer demand or the market trend”.
