Those phenomenon usually appears in collectively specialized curriculums such as courses of “music appreciation ”,“music theory”and“harmony”and so on. Therefore, the phenomenon such as overlap of teaching contents and problems of connection of courses from elementary school till senior high school, particularly for the courses of music appreciation and music theory, happened quite often. So far in Taiwan, since the instruction is always following the way of entrance to higher degree school, music appreciation and music theory courses are still part of the subjects of the entrance examination of senior high school. For this reason, to realize if the scheme of music appreciation and music theory courses can be tallied with the teaching conception between reality and ideal, and if the courses can fully satisfy the requirement and potential development of each individual music talented student is the one of key points in this dissertation. Furthermore, students of music class are those with particular talent. If the teachers want to provide suitable courses for them, he or she should know well about the characteristic of the students. Therefore, to realize the characteristic of each individual music talented student is the second key point in this dissertation. In accordance with the hereabove statements, this dissertation is mainly to analyze the music appreciation and music theory courses in junior high schools in Taoyuan county ,the objective of research as followings: 1.To realize the exact situation of music appreciation and music theory courses in junior high school in Taoyuan county,which includes : (1)The Scheme of teaching hours (2)The contents of teaching material (3)The evaluation of teaching (4)The conditions of entrance into the senior high school 2.So far in Taiwan, since the instruction is always following the way of entrance to higher degree school, music appreciation and music theory courses are still part of the subjects of the entrance examination of senior high school. For this reason, to realize if the scheme of music appreciation and music theory courses can fully satisfy the requirement of entrance to higher degree school is the second objective of dissertation. 3.To provide the concrete suggestion.
