Therefore, this study aims to explore the factors of adopting e-marketplace in livelihood manufacturing industry. The main objectives of this work are stated as follows: 1. Investigate whether the industry factor will influence firms to adopt e-marketplace and their performance. 2. Discuss whether the adopting e-marketplace will be affected by the nature of enterprises. 3. Explore the common features among enterprises who adopt e-marketplace and those who don’t. 4. Present suggestions to enterprises based on the study results. Therefore, this study picks up textile industry and food industry from livelihood industry. Questionnaire copies were sent by post mail. This study uses Chi-square test, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA analysis and cluster analysis to research the collected samples via statistics software SPSS, and then we make conclusions. The results show that textile industry and food industry are independent of adopting e-marketplace. The main factors are “information” and “standardization” under organization dimension, “positive drawing” under environment dimension and “passive-aggressive” under CEO dimension.
