The results show that alginate aqueous solution is a pseudoplastic fluid.1.5﹪alginate solution show the smallest particle size,and the largest drug encapsulation efficiency and largest negative value of Zeta potential of microcapsules as compared with 0.5﹪,1.0﹪,and 2.0﹪of alginate solutions.The microcapsules of alginate-chitosan has a smaller swelling ratio than that of Ca-alginate.We observed the surface character of microcapsules of crosslinkage with SEM,and found the release rates are low down with the fine surface of microcapsules,therefore alginate-chitosan microcapsules can be used for the propose of delaying drug release.
