It will be a great benefit to the demonstration for the construction''s mapping data and allocation. It can improve working efficiency and maintaining facilities. Therefore there are many institutions and companies used. There are various kinds of local loop services provided by the Chunghwa Telecom(CHT). It is necessary that the department maintain network equipments and also sets up related information system to support data management. These different kinds of information application systems ,including line designing、construction、eliminating trouble and manage-data analysis are important parts in the CHT Enterprise Support System(ESS). LEAMIS is a management and application system that has been used to store and process the data of subscribers'' telephone lines and facilities, while TOPGIS is another system used to process and present the physical lines and facilities geographically and graphically. Both TOPGIS and LEAMIS store the same original data of subscribers'' lines and facilities, the question is how to insure the data integrity. LEAMIS has the most updated database because LEAMIS refreshes the data immediately after the construction is finished. Naturally, TOPGIS''s friendly GUI functions should be updated correspondingly the sooner the better .In this report, we''ll use terminal box as an example to propose a procedure named TTAUP(TOPGIS Terminal boxes Automatic Update Procedure)to update the information of terminal boxes in TOPGIS from LEAMIS automatically and graphically. TTAUP links LEAMIS to TOPGIS and has been proved successful; it has the advantages of workforce savings from the tedious raw data transfer manually from LEAMIS, time saving and easily maintaining data integrity. One more thing to mention is TTAUP helps to provide more the accurate loop- distance between customer premises and the end office. Yeong-Ren Jean 簡永仁 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 48 zh-TW
