The Cirque du Soleil creates a new form of circus performance, which is discussed here in three aspects: the medium, the object, and the method of presentation. In addition, there is a parallel comparison between the Chinese acrobatics and the modern western theatre as used in Cirque du Soleil. It can be seen that the Circus du Soleil seems something unique.
