The method, so called action-study, was used to conduct the research. Two teaching activities, based on the concept of cooperative learning, were carried out in the class advised by the author, and the studied data were collected through video recording、 audio recording、 examination、 questionnaire、 instructor’s notes and student’s learning report. From the reciprocal teaching-and-learning process the teaching strategy was adjusted successively by the instructor in order to increase the student’s interest in learning ballet and also improve their performance after learning. Before executing each teaching activity the researcher wrote down the object of the activity、 the difficulties possibly encountered and execution strategy. After the activity was completed the whole process was reviewed and then the learning results were evaluated. From the study of a series of reciprocal learning activities the learning results as well as opinions from the students were summarized as follows: 1. With cooperative learning manner the teaching activity provided more reciprocal opportunities between student and student as well as students and instructors, and then improved the closed relationship among them. 2. The students enjoyed the method of cooperative learning because it made learning easy in terminology、 historical background and cooperative skill in ballet. 3. The students, who had bad learning attitude, could gain the kindly assistance from cooperative learning and therefore they could establish their confidence as well as adjust their attitude in learning ballet. 4.
