This study collected samples from publicly listed companies in Taiwan to study the re-lationship between personal characteristics, job satisfaction, and job performance of accounting managers. The major findings of this study is listed as follows: 1.A positive relationship exists between personal characteristics and job satisfac-tion. 2.A positive relationship exists between leadership style and job satisfaction. 3.No relationship between personal characteristics and job satisfaction under each leadership style. 4.A positive relationship exists between personal characteristics and job perform-ance. 5.Leadership style and job performance show a positive relationship. 6.A positive relationship exists between job satisfaction and job performance. 7.Leadership styles have influence on the relationship between personal character-istics and job performance.
