The phase transition of EBBA/PCL were calculated by taking into consideration the Flory-Huggins theory for the free energy of mixing of isotropic phases in conjunction with the Maier-Saupe theory for phase transition of nematic liquid crystal. Crystallization behavior and morphology map in miscible blends of EBBA/PCL have been investigated on the basis of optical microscopy. Local segregation effects at the growth front of spherulite and nonlinear growth of spherulite have been found during crystallization in EBBA/PCL (4/6).
