The system consists of two three-phase three-leg parallel inverters. One of them is operated at voltage-controlled mode with double control loops. The inner-loop uses the feedback of capacitor current for speeding up the transient response, while the outer-loop is for output voltage regulation. The first system can thus provide stable AC voltage source with low harmonic distortion for linear as well as nonlinear loads. On the other hand, the second inverter is operated under current-controlled mode to regulate its output currents in accordance with the build-in power-distribution-list, and thereby achieves parallel control and load-sharing. The performance of the system is first simulated with Matlab/Simulink. Then a 16-bit digital signal processor(DSP, TMS320LF2407) is introduced to conduct the control function. The experimental results for 1.33kW linear balanced load and 1.04kW nonlinear load show that the total harmonic distortion of output voltage is 2.0% and 7.0%, respectively.
