Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 91 === This thesis is related to the design and implementation of a distributed line-detection system, which consists of multiple Linux-based personal computers. The whole system is connected together through 100Mbps Ethernet and forms a local area network. This system consists of four major parts. The first part is designed for capturing images. It transfers video images into personal computer through PCI interface. The second part is designed for detecting edge points from the border of a real object. The third part is related to the design of a distributed HT-based line-detection algorithm. Here the topics of importance are image division, calculation and integration of parameter space, and the design of communication protocols for master-slave distributed processing. The fourth part is related to the postprocessing of line detection. Finally, we monitor the computational performance for the various distributed HT-based line detection systems, and, analyze the results in detail.
