We then formulate a research, namely, qualitative research and it is conducted through the method of in-depth field interview with a data collected on the weekly-basis, with 40-90 minutes length per interview each time. It begins at the-third week after a mother gave birth and ends before the mother returns to her work place. The researcher successfully collected 6 mothers’ case study data via interview, with a total 34 pieces of process recorded behaviors. By means of content analysis, verbal behaviors of the subjects were systematically analysed and categorised. The outcome of this research has shown the preparatory behaviors for the first-time breast-feeding mother before returning to the work place can be divided into the following three main categories: Keeping the physical and psychological conditions well attuned, ensuring children to be well brought up, which well harmonized with breastfeeding & re-adapting the uncoordinated family and inter-personal relationship due to the breast-feeding and nursing the baby. We aim to discuss the following issues in the first part of the research: understanding your own body to extend the lactation period; adhering to the breast-feeding; planning in advance the possible solution for breastfeeding after going back to work; keeping the career and motherhood well balanced; and facing the unknown future bravely. Differentiating the distinct physical and psychological developments in accordance with the respective growing stages; learning the optimal techniques to raise your baby; adjusting the biological clock caused by sleep and feeding time for the sake of baby and mother to regulate the daily normal life; enabling the baby to obtain good nutrition will be covered in the second part of this research. Lastly, letting the future surrogates take over the baby sitting; communicating and sharing with the husband, seeking coordination between families to reach consensus on the career in the future will be described in the final part of this research. The result of this research, defining the preparations and consideration for the breast-feeding mothers to make with a view to continuing the breast-feeding when they go back to the work place, rendered a reference for nursing staff members in the obstetric department who take care of the breast-feeding mothers. We then formulate a research, namely, qualitative research and it is conducted through the method of in-depth field interview with a data collected on the weekly-basis, with 40-90 minutes length per interview each time.
