This paper focuses on how to take the dynamic contact angle into consideration and use numerical method to simulate it.
Comparing with similarity solution, the numerical simulation indicates that,with the consideration of the dynamic contact angle effect , the liquid column will propagate faster.Effects with liquid column propagation due to the dynamic contact angle effect for various values of the wedge angle and contact angle are also analyzed and discussed systematically .
