The difference in the plant’s communication protocol and controller in the energy management system often cause the distinction between each local area network. Therefore , we devise the agent-based for energy management network in order to integrate and analyze the information of each network. By using the database technology and mobile agent programming to accomplish the integration of information network and control network, we can complete the intelligent energy management system structure. This thesis includes the agent-based database communication architecture, the data warehouse and decision support system, and the hierarchical remote monitoring system(supervisory management level, local control level, plant level). According to our experimental results , the system’s operation data can be stored in the remote database system successfully, and the result could be demonstrated by JSP homepage after on-line analysis ; the plant’s operation condition can be controlled by mobile agent which could send supervisory management level’s message to plant level.
