Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電機工程學研究所 === 91 === As home care gradually becomes an important issue in modern society, many biomedical measuring systems have been developed to be used in this situation. Among existing systems, some are designed to measure only one type of biomedical signal, and others are composed of many different circuits to be multi-functional. As a result, the more sorts of signals we need, the larger the circuit and system will be. Furthermore, these systems, once produced, are restricted by their hardware so we cannot use them to measure other kinds of signals. In this research, we utilize the properties of PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and FPAA (Filed Programmable Analog Array) to develop a multifunctional module for biomedical signal measuring. New architecture was proposed in this thesis. With this architecture, we can measure different signals by the same analog and digital circuits. In addition, this system is further extensible. Its measuring function can be increased with no or little additional hardware. The PDA is the control and display interface of the system so the module can be easily integrated with wireless LAN and database servers to form a complete home care system for physiological monitoring.
