Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電信工程學研究所 === 91 === Space-time code is a design of combining both multi-channel transmission and linear signal processing to provide space diversity for mitigation of fading effect. In addition, by means of computer search or other methods, we can design good codes with large coding gain to improve the error performance. However, for applications of both high reliability and low power requirements, it is not enough to protect data by means of space-time coding. Hence, in this thesis, we study the combination of traditional ARQ schemes with space-time block codes or space-time trellis codes to achieve high data rate , low power and low error rate transmissions. In this thesis, we combine the ARQ scheme which combines QPSK and BPSK transmission with full rate space-time block codes over quasi-static fading channels. We give both analysis and the simulation results. Further more, we study the combination of traditional ARQ schemes of different complexity with the orthogonal space-time block codes over the quasi-static fading channels, and then discuss the system performance from the perspective of simulation results. In chapter 5, we apply the Yamamoto ARQ under Viterbi decoding to the Hybrid ARQ using different space-time trellis codes. We discuss the system performance from the perspective of simulation result.
