碩士 === 臺東師範學院 === 兒童文學研究所 === 91 === Abstract “Taiwan’s Offsprings”consists of sixteen books that is writen by Lee Tong and based on the Taiwan’s history. The subject of these books arouses teen--agers’ reflection of their ancestral root. The main direction of this research is the narrative technique of the writer. ”Narratology” is the major apporach for analyzing arrangement about portrait of characters, plots, and the narrative point of view. In order to probe into the expression, collective consciousness and particular character in “Taiwan’s Offsprings” the method applied was based on “the Models of the figures” by A.J.Greimas. For exploring the significance and the harmony of the imagination and true history in the arrangement of the plots, the method of “the Sequence of the narrative” by Bremond was used. The research also employs Luo Gang’s ”the Sight angle of the narrative”to explain the narrative point of view.
