It was a source of the life experience from the heritage of Chinese Art history. When the “propitious omen ” turns into the sculpture field for decoration and attach in the surface of handicraft as a embellish things was lucky symbol. From this sight, it is obviously for people to understand that naturally turns into another way to desire of wish, hope, wealthy, happy among the peoples. This special achievement of decoration in the traditional building was not only attach in the surface of it but also follow the shape of the structure element and became to a unique subject of engraving. Mary year ago when the emigration crossed the channel between Taiwan and FU-JIAN provincial people carried the custom from their homeland, this kinds decoration became the part of culture in Taiwan gradually. Today the publication of this field in Taiwan is still in a green situation, people took decoration art as part of good luck symbol, but in the fact this field need many scholars to work hardly. The purpose of this subject is try to establish a system between understanding and drawing especially in particular structure, because we hope to figure out the outline of the definite meaning of “lucky form ” from the history, culture, religion, custom. And do my best to map the pattern structure rule for it. Through this gate we can help people to find an easy way to know the truth meaning of stone engraving, woodcarving, pottery and temple painting. Then follow the route to match the point in the history and use the sound pronunciation to merge into new object of animal or plant to get a new transform. That is a Chinese culture way in art to enhance the imagination of pattern design. Today the old building will disappear quickly, that means a crisis of culture comes to the new generation. The echo that deeply in the button of heart needs people to recollect is the reason why we want to establish the structure way to help people to understand the truth meaning in our culture.
