On the experimental method, we divide into low dose group (0.2 ml per day), high dose group (0.8 ml per day) LGG yogurt milk and control group (0.8 ml per day) twice distilled water, feeding female BALB/c mice prolong 8 weeks. On the other hand, we divide into specific group (OVA Antigenization) and non-specific group. Analyzing weight change by weighting every week. Using ELISA measure the changes of antibodies secreting volume secreted by lymphocyte by using of harvesting mice peripheral blood once per two weeks. Harvesting spleen cells after feeding 8 weeks for doing MTT Assay, to compare the differences of lymphocyte proliferation rate between each groups. On the results of OVA specific immunological responses reveal that the weight of spleen and other organs have no differences with control groups. On the results of stimulating lymphocyte proliferation, use mitogen ConA and PHA stimulate high dose group (0.8 ml per day) have the most apparent effect of stimulating T lymphocyte’s proliferation, mitogen LPS also has the same effect on high dose group. The results of non-specific immunological responses reveal that each groups have no apparent effects on stimulating lymphocyte proliferation compared to control group. OVA antigenization could stimulate immunological response in vivo and make the effect of LGG yogurt milk on enhancing immunological abilities in mice in vivo apparent. So the effect of stimulating lymphocyte proliferation on specific group compared to control group is more apparent. By feeding LGG yogurt milk can enhance lymphocyte proliferation ability when exogenous antigen exist in vivo and the enhancing ability will change when treat different doses on mice in vivo. The optimal dose is 0.8 ml per day and equal to 5x109 number/per kg mice body weight. 龔瑞林 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW
