What’s more, the quality of public construction will affect national images and people’s confidence in the government. For understanding current concrete quality control of public construction work and monitoring system, this study examine relevant regulations enforced by local or central governments. An analysis and comparison was made of the regulations of quality control in terms of inspection frequency, acceptance criteria and correction actions. Besides, more than 1000 mixture proportions and test strengths of major public construction projects in northern Taiwan, were collected and analyzed. It was found that building code has suitable inspection frequency, by setting the strength upper-limit regulation. The ACI 318-02 code has appropriate and complete acceptance criteria. The provisions enacted by Public Construction Committee of Executive Yuan are more definite and comprehensive in terms of the disposal of unqualified cases. With the same water to cement ratio (w/c), the test compressive strength is higher than the predicted values. The amount of mixing water decreases significantly with an increase of aggregate maximum size. The sand ratio of concretes for public construction works mainly falls between 44% and 50%. The great deviation of test compressive strengths indicates that the cast and test of concretes specimens may not follow CNS standard procedure. 黃然 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW |
