The seafarers training organizations have Seafarers Training Center at the National Taiwan Ocean University, Seafarers Training Center at the National Kaohsiung Institute of Marine Technology, China College of Marine Technology and Commerce, Evergreen Seafarers Training Center and Chung Hwa Merchant Marine Seafarers Training Center. The Ministry of Transportation and Communications authorize seafarers professional training affairs to training center based on teacher, equipment, and ISO 9001 quality management system certification.
In this thesis Chung Hwa Merchant Marine Seafarers Training Center, was taken as an example to study both certification procedure and actual operational procedure. The influence of executing ISO 9001 quality management before and after on the operational procedure and behind. If other training organizations have the same problems happened, after comparing and analyzing with the conclusions, the concluding remarks addressed from the study were used as references for the training organization in the future.
