Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立海洋大學 === 電機工程學系 === 91 === It has been known that normal switching power supply utilize one or more switches to transform DC from one level to another. When the switch of circuit is turned on or turned off, it has switching power losses. In order to lower volume and weight of converter its frequency needs to be raised for power density. It makes switching power loss of circuit larger than before. The efficiency of system is also reduced when the switching frequency is increased. There is a method to solve this problem. It is a soft switching technique. The paper uses soft switching technique that improves performance of the boost converter by reducing switching power loss. The theoretical results of paper is proved by simulation. The loss is reduced by an active snubber which consists of a rectifier, an inductor, a capacitor, a main switch and an auxiliary switch. The reverse recovery related of the rectifier loss is also reduced by the active snubber.
