We used six steroid hormone:17β-estradiol (E2), Progesterone (P), Testosterone (T), 17α-hydroxyprogesterone (HP), 20-hydroxyecdysone (EC) and Methyltestosterone (MT), each experimental diets added with different does were given to different test groups, and hope to observe growth performance and physiological index. Further more, to discuss the effects on white shrimp physiology. The growth resulted of white shrimp which continuously fed with different steroid. In the early stages of experiment, growth response were no significant difference(P>0.05) in shrimps feeding with steroid and control diets, but among of some treatments have significant difference (P<0.05).and then there were the highest in MT-32 ppm diets, and the lowest in T-4ppm treatment. After 6 weeks, treatments and control had significant difference in growth, fed diets with HP-16ppm had the highest of growth, the next was EC-8ppm and EC-4ppm treatments, those treatment and control haves significantly difference(P<0.05). After 8 weeks, there had the highest in E2-16ppm diets, and the lowest in HP-32 ppm diets. The final week,the highest was diet with T-64ppm, the second was E2-16ppm treatment, furthermore EC-4ppm, HP-1ppm and EC-8ppm. The changes of white shrimp hemolymph index after ten weeks fed with different steroid diets, the glutamate-oxaloacetate transaminase(GOT) activity have differen in the experimental peroids. There had the highest in MT-32 ppm diets, the next were T-64ppm, E2-64ppm, EC-32 ppm treatment and the lowest was T-4ppm treatment. Glutamate-pyruvate transaminase(GPT) activity had the highest in P-16ppm treatment and the lowest in control. The highest of triglycerides was MT-64ppm treatment, second was T-64ppm treatment, and comparatived with the control have significant differen(P<0.05). Each treatment of cholesterol contents were highed than than the control. These had the highest in P-16ppm treatment, the next was P-64ppm and T-64ppm treatment. those treatment had significantly difference(P<0.05) to the control. In conclusion, 17β-estradiol, Testosterone and Methyltestosterone treat white shrimp have positive does response of growth; 20-hydroxyecdysone, 17α-hydroxyProgesterone and Progesterone treat white shrimp have negative does response of growth which treat excess of some does. White shrimp GOT and GPT activity were highed with steroid hormon treat, and GOT were more sensitive stimulate than GPT which stimulated with six steroid hormone.
