It involves a rich and beautiful cultivation and meaning, and its styles and forms are highly varied. Not only does it have historical significance; but also has artistic value. The main thrust of this study is to investigate the honing of leather art artistry and the molding of personal style. First, the author searches the literature on leather art, investigates the techniques of leather art, and the interviews with leather artists and analyzes their artistry styles. By this means, establish the stylish trend and civilization value in leather art. Then, through creative experiments 12 leather art works are completed, with the works divided into three series, which are “classical,” “natural,” and “living world.” Each work has both practical and artistic value. They are integrated into daily life. The ″Classical Series″ set out with a traditional spirit, searching for a Chinese style with a modern flavor. The ″Natural Series″ uses abstract lines and colored blocks to express adoration for nature and sing the meaning of life. The "Living World Series" convey a state of spontaneous life, where a deep and intelligent observation is brought to savior life and its moods. For each work, a deeply and intensive study is made of creative ideals, of modeling style, of giving image to meanings, of color aesthetics, and of the expression of materials. The author is to discover a sense of beauty through the materials, the form, the content, and the artistic sense, raise the practical and artistic value of leather artworks, and create a new appearance for leather art in the space of modern daily life. 吳千華 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 127 zh-TW
