Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 衛生教育研究所 === 91 === To Love with True Love Effect of Sex Education Program on College Students A Master Thesis By Chen , Hsiao-Pei Abstract The purposes of this study were to assess the effect of the Sex Education Program devised for the College students,and to understand the evaluation of the experiment group students for this Sex Education Program. An unequal experiment and control groups design was used in this study.Four classes of Freshmen from the China College of Marine Technology and Commerce in Taipei City were purposely selected as samples and randomly devided into two parts,one as the experiment group(n=92)and the other as the control group(n=93).Therefore,there have 185 students as the study,s subjects. Before the proceeding of the Sex Education Program, both two groups had taken the “Sex Knowledge, Attitudes, related self-Efficacy, peer social support,sexual behavior intention questionnaire”as a Pre-test. Then the students of experiment group participated in a series of Sex Education Activities which took 10 hours in total 5 weeks. After the intervention,all groups took a Post-test ,and ten weeks later, experiment group attended a Post-Post-test to evaluate the immediate and procrastinate effects of the program. The data was analyzed by using Percentile Description ,Chi-square,Paired-t test and one way ANCOVA.The results of the study were as follow: (1) The Sex Education Program could significantly increase Sex knowleges,attitude, related self-efficacy, peer social support of the College students, but for sexual behavior intention, the increase was not significant. (2) Ten weeks after intervention ,experiment group students still show persistent favored effects over Sex knowleges,attitude, peer social support, but for related self-Efficacy and sexual behavior intention, the persistent increasing effect was not significant. (3) The sexual behavior intention of experiment group’s students show positive correlation about their sexual attitude, peer social support, and related self-Efficacy, the related self-Efficacy and sexual attitude especially show best predictability. (4) There were ninty percent of experimental group students enjoy and feel helpful about the curriculum and teaching method of these activities, and suggested carried it on in the future. The result of this reserch could provide some help for the college students, sex education and related studies. We recommended using behavior science theory and strategy in the future intervention-related reserches to enhance the effect of Sex Education.
