It included the process and components of curriculum design, the difficulties that corporate had encountered when designing curriculum, and the affecting factors of curriculum design for corporate web-based training. A qualitative research method of semi-structured interview was adapted to the collect the research data. Seven professionals who worked in the field related to curriculum design for web-based training were interviewed. The interview contents were tape recorded and converted into transcripts. The transcripts were then coded and analyzed to establish the research findings and conclusions. The conclusions were as follows: 1.Curriculum design may be performed by people from HR and IT departments, content providers or venders. 2.Companies may offer web-based training courses for the reasons of time-saving, knowledge management, training trend, spread locations, availability and uniformity. 3.The steps of curriculum design for web-based training included analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). 4.The difficulties that corporate had encountered when designing curriculum, refer to the aspect of content provider are completion of materials, willingness and capability of involvement, supports from content providers. Others were input resources and hardware limitations, timings of fulfilling the training needs, willingness of users, difficulties of transforming materials, communications between project members, cooperation of IT department, low interactive degree, and hardship in evaluation. 5.Training Needs for corporate are superior. 6.The maturity of induction and implementation affected design process and course topics. 7.Curriculum design for web-based training of learners’ aspect needed to consider learners’ age, attitudes toward computer, learning behaviors and abilities to operate computer applications. 8.Curriculum design for web-based training needed to consider users’ and corporate computer resources. 9.Corporate background needed to consider corporate culture, size and traits. 10.Content of courses needed to attach to the learning goals tightly, enrich the content and easy to operate. 11.Content providers should capable with professional knowledge, concept of web-based training and media, cost analysis, curriculum plan and understanding targeted learners. Curriculum designers need to capable with concept of technology and cost effect, communication and organization ability. 12.With maturity of curriculum design, corporate tend to stabilize interfaces, design process and software. 13.Interaction needed to be in time and the design could evoke interaction. 14.To calculate cost needed to include human resource, hardware and software equipments and courses from outside providers. 15.It had to consider when to inducted, functions and distributing managerial responsibilities in selecting the platform. 16.Refer to providers’ aspect, it needed to consider the service scope and interoperability of products. 17.Planning associated activities and policies for implementation. 18.Goals needed to be clear and assured.
