The organization of human group and relationship affected the status of local folk belief. According to this viewpoint, we try explain the concept of settlement change and intergradations between the relative kinship and geographical relation.
Hsin-Tso-Tzu. It’s important to understands 「human organization and their relationship」by interpreting the point of folk belief. In discussing this treatise, we can find the type of human organization in this settlement, establish the conception of the change and intergradation between the blood and geographic relationship.
Settlements established in Yun-An, by time order, there are Twu-Shu-Lin and Chu-Tzu-Kang, Hsin-Kang, Hsin-Tso-Tzu, and Yen-Tien is the last. There are three Matsu-temples in Hsin-Tso-Tzu area. The backgrounds of each are: civil temple (Yun-An-Gon), village temple(Ten-Ho-Gon), and the family shrine (Chou-Ten-Gon).
The changes of human relationship in the social network at Hsin-Tso-Tzu are based on the “family” unit. To check the history of these three Matsu-temples, we can find the backgrounds are new geographical relationship, kinship relationship and they became the temple of local religious believe or God of ancestor and family shrine.
