碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 鄉土文化研究所教學碩士班 === 91 === This essay researched the topics of the form of planchette in Mi-Tuo Chi-Hui-Tang and it’s religious connotation and development. Chi-Hui-Tang expands fastly in Taiwan. The origin of the doctrine of Yao-Chi-Jin-Mu in Chi-Hui-Tang is from the belief of Wu-Sheng-Lao-Mu in Taoism origin and also Si-Wang-Mo in Taoism. Due to the political situation, the religious connotation changes from Taoist Ceremony. Up to 2,895 samples are about asking instructions from Mu-Niang . Data shows where they from, the reasons of planchette, their age and gender. To sum up, people requested instructions from Chi-Hui-Tang, these matters are health, furture, business, marriage and family. The age from 31 to 40 are the majority in the survey. The top critieria for instructions is furture for male and health for feamale. There are seven items and sixteen ways in the instructions to solve the problem. Most of them are similar to the fork belief. The contents of the instructions have seven features and five different functions. The featurers and functions work on declaration of Mu-Niang religion, stabling social status and lasting traditional culture effectively. Besides, the instructions contain the view of traditional cosmos, burning paper money, relate by the fate and requiting culture. The form of the planchette in Mi-Tuo Chi-Hui-Tang depends on the traditional culture and custom. It makes people relief their spirit, do good things, obey filial duty and stress family happiness.
