The research was investigated teachers’ background variables to compare the differences and searched the correlation between above two variables. According to literature analysis, the researcher selected the news, advertisements, cartoons, variety show, and TV drama series, and seven films, etc. To edit the questionnaires based on above films of gender ideology. The researcher also edited the questionnaires of gender equity attitudes. Taking the method by questions, they were delivered to 181 teachers of 15 elementary schools in Penghu County. The data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistic methods, which were included t-test, and ANOVA analysis, Pearson product-moment correlation. The conclusions of the study were summarized as following: 一、 The elementary school teachers, whose awareness of gender ideology on TV films, had middle low patriarchal ideology in Penghu County. There were only a few ones who lacked of some awareness of gender ideology on TV films having high patriarchal ideology. 二、 They presented the positive attitude on gender equity education. This result needed to do a further observation if they just pursuing the praise of society. 三、 For awareness of gender ideology on TV films and attitudes of gender equity education, gender and age were the two important variables. 四、 For awareness of gender ideology on TV films and attitudes of gender equity education, the educational background was the variable, which was no significant difference. 五、 There was positive correlation between elementary school teachers’ gender ideology and gender equity education attitudes. According to above conclusions, this research provided the suggestions for administrators, the elementary schools in Penghu County, elementary teachers and future researches.
