Also, the study is to compare teachers’ and parents’ attitude toward the rights and obligations of parent involvement in the different variables. This study employed the “survey method”. The subjects include 92 teachers and 180 parents randomly selected from the classes of special education in elementary schools in Taichung. The major findings are as follows: 1. All teachers demonstrate positive attitude toward the rights and obligations of parent involvement and there are no significant differences in the attitudes related to different variables. 2. All parents demonstrate positive attitude toward the rights and obligations of parent involvement; however, there are significant differences in the attitudes relative to education level and whether or not participating in parents’ association. 3. Parents with high education level and had participated in parents’ group have more positive attitudes toward the rights and obligations of parent involvement. 4. Parents have more positive attitude toward the rights of parent involvement than teachers in areas of special education services. 5. Teachers had more positive attitude toward the obligations of parent involvement than parents in areas of parent as home tutors. According to the findings, some suggestions are proposed for the government, schools, parents, and future research. WANG,MU-JUNG 王木榮 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 123 zh-TW |
