The test subjects are students from the public elementary schools in Taichung, Changhua and Nantou counties by using a stratified random sampling method. Based on the analysis: 1. The children’s ability of mathematical problem solving is significantly correlated to their abilities of attention and memory. 2. The children’s ability of mathematical problem solving is significantly regressed on their abilities of attention and memory. 3.
