Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺中師範學院 === 自然科學教育學系碩士班 === 91 === This research is focus on the exploring that how to develop the performance assessment of the teaching modules in the Nature and Living Technology field, which is based on the pivot of nurturing children scientific creativity, through co-operated action inquiry. By the learning, introspecting and interactive procedure of the research team, would improve the teacher’s knowledge and professional accomplishment. The researcher produced 3 experimental courses in a year totally. By the substantial research method, using the interviewing, observing records and documents analysis, the researcher observed the following essentials: 1. The teaching material, teaching method and assessment are complementary to each other, therefore in co-operative developing the teaching modules, the ideology of each teacher which to participate in the development should be communicated and discussed adequately. 2. To select the subject of a performance assessment should be according to the children’s living and interest, both that would encourage the children to take the initiative to join in and derive great pleasure from learning. 3. A performance assessment should provide the definite learning target; make the children to learn actively. The actively learning is the key attitude to excite the children’s scientific creativity. And the definite subscribe of the performance provides children a clear learning target. 4. It needs more time to arise children’s independent-thinking capability; in another word, by the effects of the tradition of the classroom, the children need more time to grow up their confidence to take the initiative to learn and to think independently. 5. The smaller course units are possessed of more flexibility in the timing of teaching. 6. The teaching method influences the development of children’s creativity very much; the teaching method of “taking the children as the pivot of learning” can take children’s creativity to a higher position without any interference. 7. The teachers should have the basic knowledge of material application to support children to prepare materials on their own. 8. Using checklist to evaluate, the detailed scoring instruction helps teaching and learning more and more fluent. 9. Making children “DIY” to finish the assessment so that they can grow up the capability of self-thinking and creativity. The researcher would provide the concrete proposal for the teachers, administration of schools and parents to have a positive research direction in the future according to the research essentials above.
