Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 森林系 === 91 === Wood is an organic material. It is easily attacked by termite, fungus, insects, when the conditions of temperature, humidity, air and food are appropriate. It has close relationship between the environment, wood species, and moisture. A survey on the damages of wooden structures attacked by fungus, insects, termites was performed at four forest recreational area(include Ali-san Ten-chih Shun-liu and Ken-ting). It is found that most of hazardous wooden structures were located in K4 environment(64 %).Most of wood foundation members were damaged due to contactor buried in soils directly (62 %).The major wood facilities facing biologic attack are instruction boards and rails (59 %). There are about 39 % of wood facilities having serious damages already. Agathis(Agathis sp.), and Lauan(Shorea spp.) are two major species likely damaged by biologic attack. Therefore, selecting appropriate wood species, preserve treatment and design is important. Four termite prevention experimental lots were located at NPUST, Ten-chih and Shung-liu forest recreation area. The results indicated that roughness wall could not prevent from termite invasion, but the sanding shielding, steel mesh, and anti-termites metal plate were proved effective after 1 year and 10 month investigation.
