| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 工業管理系 === 91 === The biotechnology development has become one of the main industries and its implementation is deemed as an important policy for Taiwan economy. An agricultural biotechnology park (ABP) is therefore being under construction in order to have a function on enhancing industry level and to make an extension at industry diversities. The purposes of ABP aim at various aspects in terms of lowering production cost structure and reducing impact of WTO (World Trade Organizations) entrance form the view of increasing industry efficiency and global competition. However, how to derive industry transition, accommodate with economic development structure, enhance industry productivity, and then construct a competitive environment in terms of industry positioning is crucial. This work tries to position an ABP function through an analysis of agricultural industry chain and related activities. To position key items of agricultural industry chain, a survey followed by a two-stage analysis is proceeded and a result on production and marketing framework for ABP planning is also provided.
