The thesis employs the fundamental theory of Mechanics of Material to analyze the the steel form of a prestress concrete tube beam, and uses the ultimate design method LRFD approach to design the steel form. The work is an attempt to design steel form using LRFD approach,which would be used as an example to illustrate the stepts to design the steel form using LRFD approach. The developed process might provide a reference for further study or design application.
