Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東師範學院 === 教育科技研究所 === 91 === Chinese quintessence, Calligraphy, is the performance of Chinese culture; and it also the important instructional activity from the immemorial. The practicability of Calligraphy is losing with the changes of the trend, contrarily, with the flourish of the printed characters, such as computer typing and e-mail etc., we should take new actions to improve the Calligraphy instruction according to the trend. This research is based on the Instruction of Systematic Development (ISD) to develop web-based teaching material to overcome the difficulties of instruction by e-learning method. This research is emphasized on the development of basic ability in accordance with the Nine-Year Integration Curriculum. The research is trying to use computer technology to combine life experience, the characteristics and demand of each learner. The software is divided into 3 parts: the first part is introducing the elemental knowledge of Calligraphy; the second part is the application in life; and the last part is the playground of computer games. The researcher is expecting to develop another e-learning space for children to learn Calligraphy in a new way, getting rid of the stereotype of stiff and dull Calligraphy learning; and at the same time to offer a multimedia web-based instructional resources for teachers to use at hand. At the end of this paper, the researcher would provide the reflection and suggestion for the reference of future research.
