It attempts to study the meanings of the interaction between parents and teachers , the related studies, and the models that .are constructed by the elementary school’s parents and teachers who participate the interaction process, the difficulties they meet and the strategies they take. It is hoped that the purposes and the questions would be explored through this action research . Based on the findings,the conclusions are as follows: 1.the cognition of p-t interaction Both teachers and teachers highly agree that the interaction between them is active and positive ,and they have the duty and obligation to promote a better interaction. They all make a progress in the cognition of education through sufficient communications, and they have more empathy. 2.the attitude of p-t interaction To have an effective interaction ,in the attitudes, teachers should understand an individual’s expectations , and parents’ opinions and developments . Teachers should think about their own attitudes and accept the opposition from the parents. In addition , they can ask for the supporting nets , can play an appropriate role, can think of the terms of interaction ,and can provide the bank of professional knowledge. 3.the content of the p-t interaction Generally speaking , about the interaction , parents and teachers have closely point of view and cognition on the issues such as: discussion children’s study, safety and health, the relationship with other classmates , children’s self-confirmation , children’s disciplines, discussion teaching methods , and the school’s basic direction . The data collected from parents- children schedule books and teachers’ notebooks is identical with questionnaire statistics. In middle and low classes , no matter parents or teachers are concerned with children’s lessons most .In high classes ,they care about children’s moral education(behavior).Also, parents’ concerns coincide with the literature . 4.the channel of p-t interaction In middle and low classes, the channels of interaction focus on parents — children schedule books. In high classes, the main channel is the telephone call. It is worth trying and using multi-channels. According to the study findings, the writer present some suggestions to the school and its staff , to education administrative units, to teachers’ colleges and to the further study .
