In terms of asynchronous online instruction, the K12 digital school as instructional online platform for senior high school English make-up courses can save time on making teaching material, maintaining website, and tracking students’ learning progresses and interactions among the teacher and students. Furthermore, it enhances “listening comprehension”, ”speaking abilities”, ”reading skill”, and “writing techniques” beyond traditional teaching course by multi-media presentation in the website provided with space-time convenience. The subject of this study consists of 72 low-learning-achievement students, a teacher, and I, as a researcher, at Chung Cheng Senior High School in Kaohsiung city. Four main steps for this study are to: (a) prepare the teaching materials; (b) conduct the instruction; (c) survey on Senior High school English learning attitude and the learning manner of English teaching; and (d) do semi-structured interviews with students and the teacher. Three results of this study include: (a) those students hold positive attitude on online instruction and agree that the multi-media website makes their learning more interesting than that of traditional classroom, (b) the teacher’s information technology attitude and instruction has obviously improved, (c) in time support by the information technology teacher plays positive effect in terms of implementing the online English make up courses on K12 digital school platform. The contributions of this study have three folds::(a) Based on the K12 digital school that developed by higher education institutions, this study finds a suitable model for integrating information technology into English instruction at senior high school level. (b) Through the cooperative experience between information technology teacher and the English teacher for online instruction, this study explores feasible patterns in integration of information technology into instruction. (c) It offers those students another option on improving their learning interest and efficiency. 楊錦潭 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 101 zh-TW
