Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 資訊教育研究所 === 91 === The study was to examine the efficiency of adaptive testing based on difficulties of item banks and the prior ability distributions. The research method is simulation studies, to simulate the examinant response pattern and suppose three kinds of examinant group’s ability distributions and five kinds of item banks difficulties distributions. Given item bank size limited, to examine whether the examinant group’s ability distributions and the item bank difficulties distributions could be coordinate each other or not, and to conduct a test more efficiently. The research tried to prove their relations, and to provide a suggestion of the IRT-based item bank distribution for the computerized adaptive testing. Some results are discussed as follows: (1) To save item bank spaces, and must decrease the items that fitted the extreme ability examinants for the purpose that increased the items that fitted the typical ability examinants, how to weigh them, this research would provide results and suggestions very well. (2) The aspect of the ability prior distribution choice, this research proved that should be choice by examinants group’s ability distribution, especially when the ability standard deviation is smaller, the efficiency is more obvious.
