碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 91 === Summary: This paper is to study the affection of willing service at hospitals on the volunteers’ view of life value. The main purposes are to investigate the transformation of life value during willing service and analyze the types of view of life value, by way of discussing the factors and reasons on the volunteers’ choice to work on hospitals willingly. Through interviews with eight volunteers, observing at fields of hospitals, collecting related data about volunteers serving willingly at hospitals, crossing analyzing and discussing, we have six come-outs as following: 1. Factors for those volunteers who service at hospitals willingly are complicated, but believes, personalities, and steady finance are the main conditions; negative impression about hospitals will affect their wills of serving there; experience of “being lost” inspires them to find the life exit. 2. Reasons of the volunteers’ willing service are divided into “belief” and “un-belief” parts. For part of “belief” contains belief is confidence, serving at hospitals is kind of religious activity, transforming the learning space of belief and trying to understand the phenomenon of being alive and dead; for part of “un-belief” is based on the benefit policy for others and self. 3. Types of volunteers’ view of life value include pursuing the final target of value about belief, developing a social life value about respect and care, and caring about the value of life esteem. 4. The main transformation about volunteers’ view of life value are: the transformation from benefiting self to others promotes the value of “willing service” from tooled to purposed, different view on body differences and change their ideas about life and death. 5. The affections about willing service at hospitals are：hospital is the place for checking and confirming volunteers’ believes, hospital offers a reference about different life status, different natures of willing service and come-outs of interact offer them different learning experiences, education on those volunteers stores them kind of value and establishes them power and energy. 6. The new view of life value is performed on daily life by ways of : attitude of cherishing and sharing, paying more attention on health of body and mind, no fighting with others, improving the way of getting along with families and their relationship, feeling safe, helping others more positively, and following service activities willingly.
