Besides, it aims to find out the influence of personal backgrounds on these issues and to offer positive suggestions. The data for testing basic hypothesis are based on a questionnaire, specially drawn up and sent out to junior high Nature Science and Living Technology teachers in Kaohsiung. 352 effective questionnaires are returned and evaluated in this study. The statistical methods adopted here are Means, Standard Deviation, T-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe'' posterior comparison and Pearson''s Product-Moment Correlations, etc. The conclusions from this study are as follows: 1. Energy teaching of junior high Nature Science and Living Technology teachers in Kaohsiung have high level content of courses, teaching materials, teaching method, assessments and teaching results. 2. The junior high Nature Science and Living Technology teachers in Kaohsiung show positive attitude toward energy. 3. Gender differences , age and the educational background affect attitude toward energy of teachers, but these can''t affect energy teaching of teachers. 4. A subject in a curriculum affects energy teaching of teachers.but it can''t affect toward energy of teachers. 5. Service duration affects energy teaching and attitude toward energy of teachers. 6. The administrative personnel have nothing to do with energy teaching and attitude toward energy of teachers. 7. There is a significant relationship between energy teaching and attitude toward energy.
