Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 91 === This study is written to discuss the factors concerning junior-high school students’ anxieties about the computer in Chia-yi county. I hope to reflect students’ present situations and related factors. By doing so, I can offer the opinions to my fellow teachers, schools, the education authorities in Chia-yi county and other researchers as reference.
The factors mentioned include personal background materials (sex, school type, having a computer or not, any family member to instruct him/her ), computer learning experience and computer self-efficacy. These variations are the main parts in this essay. To achieve the purpose, I set some steps. First, collecting lots of theories and documents concerning. Second, exploring and analyzing them as the basis of the study. Third, making a questionnaire, correcting and pre-testing. Finally, doing practical research.
The scope of this study is only limited to junior-high students in Chia-yi county. The measure tool is “Questionaire Of Junior-High Students’ Computer Anxieties In Chia-yi County” adapted from some related scales. In order to get correct answers to match statistical accuracy, so these questionnaires were sent to junior-high school by researcher myself. Besides, test explanations were given by researchers myself or persons specially assigned. 1957 copies have been sent, 1868 copies have been retrieved, the proportion of reclamation is 95.9%, serviceable copies are 1569. As for the final results after testing, I used many statistical methods, like t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple linear regression to count and analyze.
The conclusions are summed up the followings:
1. The situation of students’ anxieties is under the average, not very serious.
2. There are obvious differences in sex, school types, having a computer or not, instructed by family member or not.
3. Rich or poor computer learning experiences are also showed differently.
4. There is negative correlation between computer self-efficacy and computer anxieties.
5. Computer self-efficacy, computer learning experience, sex, school types and having or not having a computer at home can predict computer anxieties effectively.
