Nevertheless, we can realize the importance of reading by the act of pupils’ reading which cultivates their reading habits. Comic books have become pupils’ favorite reading materials from the time being. Therefore, it’s a crucial importance to understand comic books influence on pupils’ reading behavior. The main purpose of this study is to explore the influence of comic books on reading behavior of elementary school students. The main method used in this study is questionnaire. Using the data for analyzing, we can realize children like the comic form and content、pupils’ motivation on reading comic books、interests in reading comic books, and reading comic books information resources and environment . The study is the act of measuring method, and the collection of data by using Chi-square through SPSS10.0. Hoping to understand comic books form and content pupil’s reading prefer、pupils’ motivation on reading comic book、interests in reading comic books, and reading comic books information resources and environment ,which have no significant difference on sex, grade, intelligent performance and parents education degree. According to statistic analyzed get the conclusions shown as follows: 1. The print color of children like on the grade、sex、intelligent performance、parents education degree have no correlation. 2. The binding books of children like on the sex、intelligent performance、parents degree have no correlation but on the grade have correlation. 3. Pupil’s feel that how many pages comic books should have which don’t relate to the grade、intelligent performance、parents education degree, but on the sex has correlation. 4. Comic sort of children like on parents education degree has no correlation, but on the sex、grade、intelligent performance have correlation. 5. Pupil’s like reading comic books’ reason on the sex、grade、intelligent performance and parents education degree have correlation. 6. Pupil’s are absorbed by the comic content on the intelligent performance、parents education degree have no correlation ,but on the sex and age have correlation. 7. Pupil’s average hour reading comic books in a day on the sex、grade、parents education degree have no correlation, but on the intelligent performance has correlation. 8. Pupil’s reading comic books amount in a week has correlation on sex, but on the grade、intelligent performance and parents degree have no correlation. 9. Pupil’s reduce reading comic books’ reason on the parents education degree has no correlation, but on the sex、grade、intelligent performance have correlation. 10. Pupil’s use pocket money to buy comic books on parents education degree has correlation, but on the sex、grade、intelligent performance have no correlation. 11. Pupil’s gets comic books information on the sex、grade、intelligent performance have no correlation. 12. Pupil’s reading comic books’ resource on the sex、grade、intelligent performance and parents education degree have correlation. 13. Pupil’s needs for sorts of comic books in school library have no correlation on parents’ education degree, but have correlation on sex、grade and intelligent performance.
