A self-developed questionnaire in this study was used to make a survey on 172 kindergarten teachers stratified randomly selected from 169 elementary schools with kindergarten around Taipei County area. The statistical methods used in the study were mean, T-test, One-Way-Anova and Scheffe’s posteriori comparison. There were also open-ended questions that were categorized and counted for frequency. The main results of this study were as follows: 1. It found that administrative job stress is above average. Among seven dimensions of work stressors, the highest was “work overload”. 2. There were significant differences in teachers’ job stress among background variables. For example, senior part-time administrative teachers had higher job stress than new part-time administrative teachers. 3. Teachers who taught in the large size kindergarten had higher job stress on “time” and “social relationship”. 4. Teachers who taught in the large size school had higher job stress on “time”, ”social relationship” and “profession knowledge”. 5. The open-ended questions were revealed as follows: kindergarten part-time administrative teachers often meet the persecution was multifarious administrative business influence teaching quality. Teachers want to communicate with principal about preschool ideal was to support all kindergarten teachers and realize they were working hard. And part-time administrative teachers thought “school examine” and” to enroll new students” were both made them fell stress. Teachers suggest increase full-time staff or decrease some curriculum for part-time administrative teachers.
