Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹師範學院 === 輔導教學碩士班 === 91 === Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate, by means of action research, the process to practice the life education class project to the second graders in the elementary school. In the process, there are three main goals to be reviewed: 1. The development of the life education class project to the second graders in the elementary school. 2. The impact on the students after the life education class project is carried out on them. 3. The self-growth and the professional growth of a teacher during the process to carry out the life education class project. The final part of this study is to give some advices to myself and the educators to come, based on the research results. The following are the results of this study: One. Concerning the development of the life education class project 1. Construct the substance of life education on the teaching spot: to elaborate every life. 2. Life education approach: the point is to practice and to realize it. 3. The process of developing life education class project: (1)to know students’ experiences and interests is the first key point; (2)the practice after true knowledge and the discussion after teaching are of great importance; (3)children’s story books and picture books are very helpful and useful tools. Two. Concerning the impact on students after practicing the project 1. Intrapersonal dimension: to know one’s own strong points, to have self-confidence. 2. Interpersonal dimension: to realize cooperation, concerns, forgiveness between oneself and others and to practice in real life step by step. 3. Life-and-death issue: (1)to understand the life cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death; (2)to know and feel how to grieve when necessary; (3)to respect life more through the activities to grow bean plants and silkworms. Three. Concerning the self-growth and professional growth of a teacher 1. Colleagues involved in this study form a sense of belonging and success during the discussion process, and become more devoted to work on the life education issues. 2. To walk out of grieving period over losing loved ones through this action research process. 3. The beginning of a teacher’s professional growth is the action research process mentioned above. 4. A teachers’ group thrives in sincerity and devotedness.   Finally, there are some advices to the teachers in practice, life education teachers, and researchers in the future, according to this study results.
