The Purpose of the Studies:
1. Take “ The Voyages toward the West” as a subject, apply to the Nine-Year Sequence Curriculum with the aim of developing a teaching plan model in the field of “Art and Humanity”; generalizing a feasible teaching plan model:
From the plot and the denotation of “ The Voyages toward the West”, through the intermediary of the “Chain Reaction Method” and the “Associable Chart”, develops some ideas of teaching methods. By means of the two-way specification table”, supervises the teaching content. Furthermore, using it to compare with the phased aptitude index in order to organize a teaching plan.
2. Using Chinese classical naval as an opening getter, every unit would be associated with the plot of the story and forms a system into a set of continuity, fill with structured learning motivations. Through the experiments, it demonstrates that students would enjoy their learning by using this teaching plan model.
3. Utilizing the “two-way specification table” would be able to unify the sense of sight, music, and acting in the field of Art and Humanity; supporting other subjects in other fields as well. Furthermore, it gives a chance for these six fields to integrate each other.
4. For forming the teaching plans, the “two-way specification table” would assist to control the teaching contents. At the same time, it would accomplish the phased aptitude index and the objectives for the lessons.
