However, many confront with difficulties of the systems integration and it may lead to a late decision-making. Besides, because of increasingly information, the executives may not correctly make their decision within a limited time. This could make firm face to great risk. Thus, in order to find effective solutions in the real world, this paper attempts to employ the relational database framework in dealing with a Taiwanese integrated circuit firm for undertaking an in-depth case study. The case study also seeks to use the critical success factor method and executive interview in order to obtain executive information require and to build up a friendly user interface and on-line access prototype system. It will be used to support executives’ financial decision-making requirements and enhancing a business firm’s internal control function. Furthermore, this study will also aim to test the prototype system in applying the case company’s annual financial statement. By inputting the case company’s asset and liability data and through the procedure of database structured query language, the system will be able to show several financial results such as asset-liability ratio of financial structure、current ratio of debt-paying ability and financial analysis index of business ability, and these results can be used to elaborate the company’s budget planning、 the company’s capital structure policy as well as the strategic references for internal cash flow control. Finally, this paper will provide the results for verifying such system, which can be efficiently used to help the case company’s financial decision and internal auditing in solving the company’s information systems integration issues.
