Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防管理學院 === 資源管理研究所 === 91 === Abstract By the progress of information technology and Internet, the virtual organization has become a trend, thus there are more and more virtual workers. The purpose of this research is to explore the relationships between critical factors associated with virtual work and virtual worker’s organizational identification. I propose a theoretical model to build some testable hypotheses, such as both clarity of evaluation criteria and adequate communication are positively affected with identification, and work independence is opposite affected with identification. Additionally, I suppose that adequate communication and virtual worker’s individual factors-age, position, annual income play moderating roles in the model. This research tries to proceed empirical study for domestic industry. Empirical analysis to 140 valid questionnaires indicated that work independence has not significant relation to organizational identification; but both clarity of evaluation criteria and adequate communication have significant positively affected with identification. Furthermore, the moderating role of adequate communication is not significant. Individual factors-age, position and annual income have buffering effect between work independence and organizational identification; but they have not moderating on the relationship between the clarity of evaluation criteria and organizational identification. At last, this research will discuss the results and propose some managerial implications.
