The complexity of flight enhances physiological and psychological stress of pilots. Therefore, it’s very important to understand the pilots’ risk perception based on their flight experiences in order to further develop risk communication and improve aviation safety. The paper measured the risk perception with objectivity and subjectivity. The paper explored the risk perception of pilots under the flight environment conditions at an airport, and analyzed the dimensions of the risk perception by statistic analysis. The risk perception of pilots could characterize the flight risk and aviation safety at the airport, as well as provide the information to understand the risk and risk communication. According to the discussion of focus groups and the interview with experts, the paper identified the six risk items as the climate environment conditions at the Taipei Airport terminal. They are Storm, Low Level Wind Shear, Low vision, Turbulence, Birds stricken, as well as Kite and balloon . Based on the Slovic’s risk perception dimensions, the paper designed the questionnaire, surveyed pilots, and analyzed the reply. It’s concluded that the airport environment risk perception of pilots can be addressed as two items,「Dread risk」and「Unknown risk」. Kai Kuo Chang Ding Chou Cheng 張開國 鄭定洲 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW
