Our first rule is called starlike folding which is better than others for the sequences in the pattern of (HP+)+. The other rule is called compact starlike folding which is suitable for the sequences in the combined patterns of (HP+)+ and Hn. Together with backbone folding and arrow folding, we propose a strategy of protein folding which suggests a suitable usage for all possible sequences.
